There is a new journal called the Patient Experience Journal. It is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal available on the internet for anyone to read. Published in association with the Beryl Institute, the Patient Experience Journal focuses on understanding and improving the patient experience. It is designed to share ideas and key concepts impacting care delivery and patient safety across healthcare settings and how it influences the experiences of patients and their families.
This journal is not yet indexed in a major database, but the editors are beginning the formal indexing process with PubMed and CINAHL. In the meantime, if you’d like to keep up with what is being published, you may sign up for RSS feeds through the journal website or sign up for table of contents service offered through the library.
