Study evaluates PICC usage

A study in the September supplement of Annals of Internal Medicine entitled The Michigan Appropriateness Guide for Intravenous Catheters (MAGIC) proposes criteria for the appropriate use, care, and maintenance of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs) in adult patients. The goal is to improve the care and safety of medical patients.
